Jeux des Iles 2016 Mallorca - Day 2
We didn't have any scheduled matches on day two, but we organised practise matches against Azores boys and girls.
Andrew and Aidan both played against the number 1 & 2 players, Aidan won the first set 6/3 but was 3/5 down when we stopped but he played a much more solid match which gave him confidence. Also Andrew played much better and set out to really be more patient in the rallies, he lost his match but again was pleased of his performance, and it was a good test for the next match on Friday.
Antonija and Natasha trained with me for 30 mins then after lunch Antonija played against the Azoren number 1, who according to her coach is top four U16 in Portugal, Antonija got a good test, worked extremely hard but came out second, she works hard and hates losing, which is a great attitude to have.
Natasha, decided to rest her knee for Friday so didn't take part in the matches.
