Sources of Funding
Players, Clubs and the Association have a number of possible sources of funding, more details of which can be found using the links on the right.
Sponsors are incredibly important to the development of Tennis in Jersey. Whilst much is achieved by the hard work of our volunteers the funds that sponsors generously give really do make the difference. We are very thankful to all our sponsors for taking the decision to make that commitment to Tennis.
We are also very aware that sponsor's priorities change as do the amount of funds that they have available to support worthy causes. As a result we are always looking for potential sponsors to support our tennis programmes at Club, Island and County Level. Please contact us if you are considering sponsoring Jersey Tennis.
Advisory Council Grant
The Advisory Council meet on a monthly basis to discuss and approve applications for grants that are funded by the Education, Sport and Culture department of The States of Jersey.
Members of the Advisory Council include representatives from the Jersey Sports Council and Education, Sport and Culture, and an administrator.
Lawn Tennis Association
The LTA provides funding that Jersey players benefit from through an annual grant to the Channel Islands Lawn Tennis Association. Subject to strict criteria and often in conjunction with match-funding from other sources, the LTA will also part-fund capital projects.
The One Foundation is a charitable organisation founded in June 2011 benefiting sport, culture and community projects in Jersey. The Foundation provides professional support and financial assistance to ensure individuals, teams, non-profit making organisations and community based projects are able to achieve their full potential.
